ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE
Government continues implementation of digital transformations.
- The government continues to implement application of digital transformations to help businesses overcome the impacts of COVID-19 and expand trade activities.
- For example, trade facilitation is enhanced through the connection of administrative procedures between the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), the National Public Service Portal and the National Single Window. The government is also reviewing and simplifying business conditions and inspection regulations by cooperating across relevant agencies to reduce logistical costs that can affect import and export activities.
- MoIT will be working with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to strengthen the restructuring of large-scale agricultural production related to preservation, processing, promotion of production and value chains.
- In June, the Prime Minister approved Decision No. 749 / QD-TTg on the National Digital Transformation Programme by 2025 with Orientation Toward 2030. On 15 October, the Department of Food Safety organised a workshop to understand digital transformation in the field of food safety.
