  • On 17 January 2022, Ministry of Home Affairs issued Ministry of Home Affairs Instructions No. 3/2022 on implementation of PPKM Level 3 to Level 1 on the islands of Java and Bali, extending the prevailing lockdown for another two weeks until 24 January 2022.
  • On 17 January 2022, Ministry of Home Affairs issued Ministry of Home Affairs Instructions No. 4/2022 on implementation of PPKM Level 3 to Level 1 in Sumatra, Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua, extending PPKM policy to 31 January 2022.
  • On 12 January 2022, Indonesian COVID-19 Task Force issued Circular No. 3/2022 on Entry Point, Quarantine Zones and mandatory RTPCR for Indonesians travelling into the country from abroad. The decree mandates that all travellers travelling from abroad to comply with a 7×24 hour quarantine period
