MEASURES
- Starting from 20 July, cinemas in most areas of China resumed its operation and Beijing’s facilities, including tourist resorts, libraries and museums have been allowed to operate at half capacity.
- On 21 July, the Civil Aviation Administration of China has announced travellers flying to China must present negative COVID-19 test results before boarding. The test shall be conducted within 5 days prior to the departure and it shall be conducted at the agencies which recognised by the Chinese Embassies.
- At the same time, the China’s General Administration of Customs (GACC) continues to strengthen the inspection and testing of imported food for COVID-19 test. The government stepped up inspections of imported food after an outbreak of COVID-19 at a major food market in Beijing. Currently, temporary ban is in place for certain imported products.
