The government eased restrictions for entry into Taiwan.

MEASURES

  • On 15 July, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced, starting from 16 July, children (2-year-old and below) who possess status of residence in Taiwan from mainland China, may apply for entry into Taiwan.
  • The parents of these children may accompany them to enter Taiwan. However, the children and parents will subject to a 14-day home quarantine period upon arrival.
  • Further details would be established and governed by the National Immigration Agency and related government agencies.
