Decision for extension of the emergency decree to be discussed next week.

MEASURES

  • On 24 September, the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) announced that the decision to extend the emergency decree for another month will be discussed next Tuesday before bringing this to the Cabinet on Wednesday.
  • The extension is considered with the surge of cases in neighboring countries, along with the country’s plan to open up borders for foreign travelers under the Special Tourist Visa.
  • The current emergency decree will end on 30 September.
