ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE
The list of countries/regions which are subject to shortened quarantine period in Taiwan has been updated.
UPDATES
- On 9 December, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced updated list of countries/regions which are subject to shortened quarantine in Taiwan. In view of the increased cases reported in Hong Kong, the CECC has removed Hong Kong from the list of medium-risk countries/regions (2 December). In addition, as the COVID-19 status in Australia meets criteria of CECC’s list of lowrisk countries/regions, CECC has moved Australia to the list of low-risk countries/regions. The latest list came into force immediately.
- The updated list is as follow;
- Low-risk countries/regions: New Zealand, Macao, Palau, Fiji, Brunei, Thailand, Bhutan, Laos, Cambodia, Nauru, East Timor, Mauritius, Vietnam, the Marshall Islands, Singapore, Australia
- Medium-risk countries/regions: None
