ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE
The government tightened quarantine measures for travellers from Philippines.
MEASURES
- Starting from 26 July, travellers arriving in Taiwan from Philippines will subject to the following quarantine measures;
– Taiwanese nationals and certain foreign nationals (who hold Alien Resident Certificate (ARC)/resident visa, migrant workers, foreign students and diplomats) will subject to COVID-19 test upon entry. Those who present symptoms shall be transported to quarantine center to await test results. Those who have no symptoms will subject to a 14-day quarantine either at home or at quarantine hotel.
– Foreign nationals who do not hold resident permit in Taiwan are required to present a negative COVID-19 test result which issued within three days prior to boarding the flight to Taiwan. They are subject to the 14-day home quarantine upon arrival in Taiwan.
