The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced amendments to the quarantine measure imposed on travellers from Philippines.

MEASURES

  • On 23 September, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced amendments to the quarantine measure imposed on travellers from Philippines
    • Travellers who developed symptoms are subject to test at the airport upon arrival in Taiwan
    • All travellers arriving from Philippines are subject to quarantine at quarantine after entry and travellers are subject to COVID-19 test before end of quarantine.
    • Foreign travellers who do not hold an Alien Resident Certificate or a resident visa must provide a negative COVID-19 test result which issued within three days of boarding before they are allowed to board their transit flight or enter Taiwan.
    • Foreign travellers, except those who holds an Alien Resident Certificate or a resident visa, are required to pay NT$ 1,500 per night for their stay at quarantine facility.
