Strict border controls will remain in force during the effective period of the nationwide Level 3 alert.

MEASURES

  • On 11 June 2021, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that strict border controls will remain in force during the effective period of the nationwide Level 3 alert in order to alleviate the burden of the testing capacity and medical resources. The border controls are given as below:
    • Non-R.O.C. nationals without a valid Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) are temporarily barred from entry, while exception may be made depending on individual cases.
    • Transit travelers are temporarily barred from entry
