RESTRICTIONS STILL IN PLACE
Taiwan imposed entry ban on travellers with history of travel to India.
MEASURES
- On 3 May 2021, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced entry ban on travellers with history of travel to India, except R.O.C. nationals and non-R.O.C. nationals with Alien Resident Certificate (ARC)
- Returning R.O.C. nationals and non-R.O.C. nationals with ARC are required to state at group quarantine facilities and undergo COVID-19 testing
- An additional 7-day self-health management will still be practiced after the quarantine
- On 17 May 2021, the CECC announced the suspension of entry for non-nationals which do not hold a valid residence permit (except for emergency and humanitarian considerations), as well as the suspension of passengers’ transit in Taiwan until 18 June 2021.
