RESTRICTIONS STILL IN PLACE
Taiwan CECC extended the Level 3 epidemic warning nationwide.
MEASURES
- On 7 June 2021, the Taiwan Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) extended the Level 3 epidemic warning nationwide to 28 June 2021. The restrictions and measures include but not limited to:
- Mask wearing is mandatory for public.
- Leisure and entertainment venues that have been ordered to close must not continue operations, and frequent inspections will be conducted at such venues.
- Only takeaways will be allowed for food and beverage businesses, and crow control measures shall be carried out for facilities, such as stores and supermarkets. At the same time, public is advised to reduce the frequency of visiting supermarkets/stores.
- Wedding banquets, public memorial ceremonies of funerals, religious gatherings or events are prohibited.
- Closure of leisure and entertainment venues, sports and exhibition venues and educational facilities.
- Social gatherings involving over 5 people indoors or 10 people outdoors (those living together not included) are strictly prohibited.
- Public should continue conduct self-health monitoring.
- Workplaces should follow the epidemic prevention rules stipulate in the Guidelines for Enterprise Planning of Business Continuity in Response to the Coronavirus Disease 2019.
