RESTRICTIONS STILL IN PLACE
Taiwan CECC announced to ease control measures for certain venues.
MEASURES
- On 27 September 2021, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced to ease the disease prevention and control measures for certain venues. A summary for the measures is given below:
- Adjustment to control measures for venues:
- Taiwan High-Speed Rail (THSR) and Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA): Public is allowed to consume food and beverages at the station paid area if social distancing can be maintained.
- Tour buses: No maximum limit will be set for the number of passengers that a tour bus can carry.
- Restrictions have been eased for art performance and exhibitions, and sports events and games.
- Certain leisure and entertainment venues will be allowed to conditionally open from 5 October.
- At the same time, the following venues should remain closed:
- Singing and dance venues, nightclubs, clubs, hostess bars, bars, pubs, and beauty parlors (tourist parlors and audio-video parlors).
