RESTRICTIONS STILL IN PLACE
Sri Lanka lifted COVID-19 lockdown and retained night curfew
MEASURES
- On 1 October 2021, it was reported that Sri Lankan government lifted a six-week lockdown but retained a night curfew and a ban on public gatherings and parties.
- The companies are urged to implement work from home mode and there was no decision on reopening schools.
- All non-essential travel and all types of gatherings are not allowed from 10pm to 4am while travel between provinces remains banned till 31 October 2021.
