ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE
Spike in COVID-19 cases observed in Bangladesh.
MEASURES
- On 24 March 2021, Bangladesh reported a spike in COVID-19 cases and this is the second highest single day reported cases since 2 July 2020. At this point of time, there is no proposal for lockdown in the country.
- The government continues to ask the public to reduce public gathering and adhere to the safety measures and guidelines issued by government.
- Meanwhile, the vaccination is continuing in Bangladesh. On 17 March 2021, the registration for COVID-19 vaccination opened for foreigners in Bangladesh.
