ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE
The guidance on how to have a safe vacation during the holiday season has been introduced.
MEASURES
- On 27 July, as vacation starts in Korea, the Korea Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (KCDC) introduced the guidance on how to have a safe vacation during the holiday season. It was reported that during holiday season, tourist attractions become crowded and facilities near tourist attraction may become high-risk and vulnerable to COVID-19 transmission. The KCDC advised people to follow the following steps
- 3 Do’s
– Wear a mask while staying indoors/ using public transportations
– Wash hands and use hand sanitisers
– Maintain social distancing (ideally 2m, 1m at minimum) - 3 Don’ts
– Do not go on vacation/outdoors if you are feeling sick (fever/cough)
– Do not visit 3C’s places (Closed, Crowded, Close-contact)
– Do not touch your face (eyes, nose, or mouth) with unwashed hands
