ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE
The government tightened controls on incoming foreigners.
MEASURES
- On 20 July, following the recent rise in the imported cases, the Korea Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (KCDC) added another 2 countries as the high risk countries. Currently, a total of 6 countries have been recognised as the high risk countries, where the following strengthened infectious disease control and prevention measures will be applied:
– Visa issuance and flight will be limited
– Regular flights are only allowed with under 60% seat capacity
– Operation of irregular flights will be temporarily halted
– Re-entry will be limited if people depart to high-risk countries
– Negative PCR test shall be presented upon arrival and the test will only valid if it was issued within 48 hours prior to the departure.
