The government tightened controls on incoming foreigners.


  • Starting from 13 July, all foreigner who arrives from the high risk countries shall present a negative PCR test result, which issued from testing/medical facilities designated and acknowledged by the Republic of Korea’s overseas embassies/consulates.
  • In addition, the test result shall be issued within 48 hours prior to the departure time and it will be submitted while entering into South Korea. Those without the proof of negative test result will not be allowed to board flights to South Korea.
  • The permitted foreigners will subject to the two-weeks quarantine upon arrival.
