South Korea extends social distancing measures

MEASURES

  • Social distancing measures will be extended until 6 February 2022, and updates to the measures are as follows:
    • Size of gathering increased from 4 to 6 regardless of vaccination status
    • Special quarantine measures during the Lunar New Year holiday
      • Refrainment from travelling within the country (in the case of unavoidable visit, one should be vaccinated and follow key quarantine rules for small scale visits)
      • Only train window seats are allowed for sale
      • Visits to nursing hospitals and facilities are banned
      • Operation of advance reservation system for quarantine measures are to be reinforced
