ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE
Revision made to border measures for the Business Travel Pass (BTP) Scheme.
MEASURES
- The scheme was introduced in 2020 to cater to executives that are based in Singapore who need to travel regularly for work.
- Travelers under this scheme are required to abide to the strict controlled itinerary. They are required to undergo an on-arrival COVID19 PCR test in lieu of the Stay-at-Home notice and be isolated in a single location until a negative result is obtained from the test. Travelers must use the TraceTogether app and avoid any form of public transport within the 14 days of return.
- Additional testing requirements have been introduced to the BTP scheme where travelers are now required to go through the COVID19 PCT tests on the 3rd, 7th and 14th day after their arrival back to Singapore. A serology test will also be required on the Day 3.
- The government continues to tighten controls at the border to prevent transmission of the virus to the community.
