Singapore released joint statement with France on the commitment to keep supply chain for essential food and agricultural products opened. The government continues to monitor the containment of spread to decide the time to enter into phase 2 of relaxation

ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE

In the joint statement, both countries aim to ensure that transport and delivery links remain uninterrupted to facilitate the flow of essential food and agricultural products.
There are also plans to facilitate partnerships between food companies, importers, and distributors in both countries to promote business opportunities and collaborations.
The Ministers will work with relevant service providers to look into the air and sea freight needs to keep up with the supply of food and agricultural products.
Post circuit breaker, there has been increase in new cases in the community. The government is monitoring the situation and if it shows that the cases are under control, the government may proceed to phase 2 relaxation by the end of the month.
