ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE
On 5 August, Singapore and members of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) committed to support trade liberalisation.
MEASURES
- Economies under CPTPP remain committed to fight protectionism and avoid food and medicine shortages during the COVID-19 pandemic by keeping supply chains opened.
- Economies also seek to intensify cooperation, free trade and limit restrictive measures.
- Members of CPTPP include Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam.
