Restrictions in Australia Starts to Ease with Discussions on Travel Bubbles Underway.

- Following 111 days under a stringent lockdown to control a second wave of COVID-19 infections, Melbourne lifted the lockdown on October 28 and has permitted restaurants, cafes and shops to reopen.
- Discussions on travel bubbles with Japan, South Korea, Singapore and New Zealand are currently underway, while Singapore has begun to permit travellers from Australia (aside those from Victoria) to enter without undergoing the usual quarantine requirements.
