RESTRICTIONS STILL IN PLACE
The declaration of state of calamity has been extended.
MEASURES
- On 18 September, it was reported that the declaration of state of calamity throughout Philippines has been extended through Proclamation No.1021s. 2020. It has been extended from 13 September, 2020 to 12 September, 2021.
- Under the extension, all government agencies and local government units could cooperate and mobilise the necessary resources to resolve problems and issues arising from COVID-19.
- The state of calamity was first announced in March and it has been planned to be in force for six months due to the COVID-19.
