The Government announced new plan to contain new cases of COVID-19
MEASURES
- On 15 July, the New Zealand Government introduced ‘‘Stamp it Out’’ plan to respond to the new cases and their impacts on individuals, businesses and others.
- The approach to reduce probability of the second wave is prepared based on four elements, including
– Border controls
– Surveillance and testing
– Contact tracing
– Hygiene measures - In addition, scenarios that involved new cases have been reported and respective plans in responding the different scenarios have been prepared. Moreover, a set of objectives and principles was introduced in the plan to set up the basis in responding new cases beyond the border.
