Public urged to stay at home to curb the spread of COVID-19.

 

 

MEASURES

  • The Ministry of Health and Sports urged the public to stay at home and adhere to the directives from the Ministry to control the spread of COVID-19 and avoid mass gatherings and travelling as much as possible as cases in the country continue to increase.
  • The soft launch ceremony of Myanmar Tradenet 2.0 portal was held on 12 November by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Import and export permits can now be applied through the online system and documents can be issued digitally.

 

 

IMPACT ON FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN

  • Myanmar Tradenet 2.0 portal is expected to ease the application and renewal of export and import permits.
