ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE
The Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) imposed on several states ended.
- On 21 November, the government has decided to lift the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) on four states, including Kedah, Melaka, Terengganu and Johor.
- The CMCO was previously expanded to nine of the states in Malaysia after spike of coronavirus cases.
- As the COVID-19 situation was showing a downward trend in the four states, the government decided to lift the CMCO earlier. The CMCO was initially scheduled to end on 6 December.
- While CMCO lifted in the four states, targeted control measures are still enforced in specific areas. The activities shall be carried out in accordance to the SOPs published for the respective areas
