Second round of COVID-19 vaccination continues in April.

  • The Department of Communicable Disease Control under the Lao Ministry of Health is calling the public to go for the vaccination to combat the rumours that are spreading on the negative side effects of the vaccines.
  • The Ministry of Public Works and Transport informed foreign airlines on the mandatory requirements for travellers that enter into the country to obtain COVID-19 insurance and wrist temperature monitoring devices. COVID-19 insurance is to be obtained through the Lao Ministry of Health, along with other travel documents and permission to enter the country.
  • The wrist bracelet notifies the designated authorities in the event of an abnormal temperature of the wearer.
