National lockdown continues
MEASURES
- Current restrictions have been extended to 30 October. Eased measures are allowed for areas without community cases.
- Businesses in areas with community spread are closed, except for factories that have been authorised by the COVID-19 Taskforce and individuals are not allowed to enter or exit areas with community spread unless authorised by the Taskforce or relevant authorities.
- The government is in the midst of considering to allow self-isolation at home for individuals with mild COVID-19 infection.
- On 22 October, the health authorities launched the enhanced COVID-19 vaccination certificate that comes with a QR code to verify the authenticity of information and allow for easier monitoring.
