Lockdown extended for a further 15 days to 7 July.

UPDATES

  • The easing of measures that were announced in the previous notice remain in place.
  • Localities that are free of COVID-19 cases are allowed to reopen tourist sites.
  • In Vientiane where community cases are still present, tourist sites and restaurants have not received permission to reopen.
  • International freight and cargo transportation are to comply with previous preventive measures.
  • Domestic air routes will resume from 25 June onwards after more than two months of suspension.
