The Japan’s cabinet approved the third supplementary budget to fund pandemic support.
MEASURES
- On 15 December, it was reported that the Japan’s cabinet approved a third supplementary budget with 21.8 trillion yen to help finance the new stimulus package in supporting the economy amid of pandemic.
- The budget covers different aspects, including but not limited to funding for domestic travel incentives.
- The government will seek approval from the parliament for the budget in early 2021.
