ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE

The government extended the guidelines for re-opening the country, which published in September.

 

MEASURES

  • On 27 October, the government announced its’ decision to extend the Guidelines for re-opening the country, which published in September. The extension will be in effect until 30 November.
  • The activities shall continue adhere to the requirements in Guidelines for Re-opening, where no new changes in the Guidelines while major activities will continue in areas outside of containment zones.

 

IMPACT ON FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN

  • For food sector, the food manufacturing activities remain unhampered. Based on the Guidelines, there shall be no restriction on inter-State and intra-State movement of persons and goods. No additional approval/permission will be required for these forms of movements.
