ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE
New Guidelines issued for International Arrivals.
MEASURES
- On 17 February 2021, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued the new Guidelines for International Arrivals.
- The released guidelines will replace those guidelines issued on the subject since 2 August, 2020.
- The guidelines has divided the Standard Operating Procedures into two sets, including
- Part (A) Standard operating procedures for all international travellers coming to India
- Part (B) Additional procedures for travallers coming from United Kingdom (UK), Europe (EU) and Middle East
- Part A of the guidelines lays down the details for the following stages
- Preparation for travel
- Before boarding
- During travel
- On arrival
- Part B of the guidelines states out additional requirements for travellers coming/transiting flights originating from UK, EU and Middle East, whereby these travellers are required to fulfil other requirements in addition to the requirements stipulated in Part A.
