Updates on the social distancing campaign (scheduled to end on 5 May 2020)
UPDATES
- On 24 April, the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters announced that in addition to those public outdoor facilities that were approved to resume operation, the government plans to prepare measures for other facilities to operate and the measures will be prepared based on risk assessment.
- On 28 April, the government released and emphasised the policy direction and plan for social distancing from 20 April to 5 May 2020, including the reopening of facilities with relatively low risk, advice to refrain from non-essential gatherings, and compliance of guidelines published for facilities which has resumed operation. In addition, the government will also prepare a quarantine guidelines for the transition to “social distancing in daily life” for the public to apply in their daily lives.
