ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE
With the nation now at Alert Level 2, businesses can now resume operations but must do so safely.
MEASURES
- Shortly after moving from Alert Level 4 to Level 3 in late April, the Government decided to move to Alert Level 2 “Reduce” – effective on 13 May – with hopes to restart the economy.
- Businesses are now permitted to resume their operations as long as they comply with public health guidance, including enforcing physical distancing, record keeping and ensuring that strict hygiene measures are in place.
- Hospitality businesses, such as those in the food service sector, are allowed to offer dine-in options, provided that groups of customers are separated, seated, and served by a single person. Businesses must also ensure a maximum of 100 people at a time.
