China delivers vaccines to Myanmar’s ethnic organisations.

UPDATES

  • The donation of vaccines and medical aids take place at border town between Myanmar and China. Besides, China has been providing support for training and construction materials for quarantine centers.
  • In acknowledgement of the public health crisis that Myanmar poses to China’s “zero COVID-19”strategy, these efforts are carried out to prevent outbreaks at border towns and stop further transmissions from Myanmar.
  • The Chinese government is also tightening border control between two countries to prevent the spread of COVID-19 from travellers.
