Decisive measures have been adopted in Beijing as the second wave spreads.


  • On 16 June, the alert level in Beijing has been raised from Level 3 to Level 2. The authority has imposed measures in parts of the city. The measures include but not limited to

    – Restriction of movement (travel ban for residents of medium- or high risk areas of the city)
    – Markets have been closed for disinfection
    – Schools and classes are halted
    – Facilities such as gyms and swimming pools are closed
