ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE
Beijing lifted some control measures as reported cases drop.
MEASURES
- On 6 July, the Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported that more than 11 million residents in Beijing had received nucleic acid tests.
- As the situation becomes better and under controlled, the local authority has lifted the control measures for 54 districts, including but not limited to Xicheng District, Haidian District, Fengtai District and others.
- At the same time, on 4 July, the General Administration of Customs China (GACC) updated the list of temporary ban for several imports. The updated list include new import bans for several pork and beef processing plants from the markets, including Germany, Brazil, UK, Argentina, Italy and Dutch.
