ENTERING RECOVERY PHASE
China Beijing imposed measures regarding travel restrictions.
MEASURES
- On 8 August 2021, it was reported that China Beijing imposed measures regarding travel restrictions on people travelling from medium-risk or high-risk areas. The travel restrictions include
- Individuals in the counties where the medium-risk or high-risk areas are located will be temporarily disallowed to enter Beijing. This will be effective until the respective region is considered as a low-risk area.
- Individuals from other counties within the prefecture-level city where the medium-risk or high-risk areas are located shall not enter Beijing unless necessary. Individuals who need to enter Beijing must adhere with the following requirements:
- Individual needs to submit a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours prior to boarding;
- Health monitoring shall be carried out for 14 days after arrival in Beijing;
- Nucleic acid tests will be required on the day of arrival and at the end of 7 days.
- Individuals from regions that are not prefecture-level cities where medium-risk or high-risk areas are located do not have to provide a negative nucleic acid test certificate when entering Beijing.
- Meanwhile, flights from 15 cities have been suspended by the Beijing Daxing International Airport.
