Siem Reap and Kampong Speu provinces lifted COVID-19 measures

MEASURES

  • On 20 October 2021, the Siem Reap Provincial Administration has lifted the 9pm-3am curfew throughout the province after a decrease in the rate of new COVID-19 cases.
  • On 22 October 2021, Prime Minister announced that there will no longer be closure of schools, business establishments, and markets upon detection of COVID-19 cases. Instead, the premises will be disinfected, following which the COVID-positive patient will be treated at a designated facility and activities would thereafter continue as normal.
  • From 1 November 2021, all public and private educational institutions at all levels will reopen; class size will be limited to 20 individuals and schools will have to observe regular testing and vaccination requirements.
  • Cambodia has implemented a new “StopCovid QR Vaccine” QR code system to manage contact tracing and ease vaccination checks.
