RESTRICTIONS STILL IN PLACE

Restrictions and lockdowns along borders with Thailand until 12 August.

MEASURES

  • The restrictions was signed by the Prime Minister on 28 July and apply to 8 provinces that are along the border with Thailand and movement of people is restricted, in particular migrant workers who work in Thailand. People within the provinces are banned from leaving their places of residence, gathering in groups and carrying out business.
  • The border with Thailand is only limited for the transport of goods and emergencies purposes.
  • On 3 August, Phnom Penh city Hall lifted the ban on dine-in and eating establishments are required to comply with all health guidelines, such as social distancing, scanning of QR codes, temperature checks and spraying of alcohol sanitisers.
