RESTRICTIONS STILL IN PLACE
Cambodia: Extension of restriction measures in Phnom Penh until 3 July.
MEASURES
- On 19 June 2021, Phnom Penh’s Municipal Administration extended the suspension of all occupations and business activities that have been assessed to pose a high risk of COVID-19 transmission. They include:
- Entertainment clubs, KTVs, nightclubs, discotheques and beer gardens;
- Casinos and resorts;
- Museums and parks;
- Massage parlours;
- Cinemas;
- Sports Centres.
- Moreover, public and private educational institutions must be suspended, but are allowed to transition online.
- Also, gatherings consisting of more than 15 people are banned, except for the following:
- Among family members in the same household, or at funerals permitted by the authorities;
- Among health workers who collect specimens for COVID-19 testing;
- Providers of emergency services.
- This extension of restrictive measures will last from 20 June until 3 July.
- On 12 June 2021, Cambodia’s Ministry of Health reiterated that all travellers entering Cambodia will be subjected to a COVID-19 rapid test.
- Travellers found to be positive for COVID-19 will be sent for hospital treatment, and anyone travelling with them will be subject to 14 days quarantine at a quarantine centre.
