The Ministry of Health continues with random COVID-19 swab tests as part of the expanded surveillance measures.
UPDATES
- The expanded surveillance tests in June included tests for preschool and childcare center staff. Following this, the swab tests will be carried out for 10% of the primary school teachers to continue on the surveillance.
- Outbound travel is permitted for those who have received permission from the Prime Minister’s Office and individuals are required to pay for the COVID-19 swab tests. The fee is set at BND$100 for citizens and permanent residents, and BND$200 for non-citizens. Payment is exempted for students, government officials and those with special permission from the Ministry of Health.
