Australia updates on workforce measures in response to rising Omicron cases
MEASURES
- On 13 January 2022, it was reported that the Omicron variant continues to impact critical supply sectors and supply chains across the country.
- The National Cabinet agreed to the following measures to keep important sectors open:
- Changes will be made to close contact arrangements for essential workers in transport, freight, logistics and service stations.
- Isolation requirements will be relaxed for these critical food supply chain workers who are close contacts of a positive COVID-19 case.
