- Australia is mulling a travel bubble with Singapore, but has indicated it will take its time in re-opening its borders.
- While COVID-19 has eased in Melbourne, a new outbreak has emerged in Sydney. The government has reimposed mandatory maskwearing in public transport and retail outlets throughout Sydney, but has stopped short of ordering a lockdown.
