Australia lifts dine-in curbs as more are vaccinated.
MEASURES
- On 22 September 2021, Australia said it aims to open its international border by 25 December 2021, which is Christmas Day. Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison said all state governments should reopen borders once 80% of the population has been fully vaccinated.
- Since the last update, Victoria has eased its dine-in curbs but capacity curbs are still in place. New South Wales is expected to ease curbs earliest 11 October, but dine-in remains prohibited in Canberra.
